Which booking length should I choose?
A single set suits a focused feature or cocktail hour. Two sets serve shorter venue and private bookings. Three sets provide the full upbeat arc. Four sets suit extended events and can include the dedicated jazz and swing set.
Can the music stay quieter early in the event?
Yes. The show can begin with voice and acoustic guitar, then move into fuller arrangements as the room becomes ready for more energy.
What is The Modern Bard?
The Modern Bard is Robert’s separately booked acoustic offering for historic, atmospheric and themed venues. Its core three-set program, A Wanderer’s Tale, moves through The Wanderer, The Voyage and The Return, with a fourth set or a 45–50 minute themed program also available.
What does the venue need to provide?
Allow approximately 2 × 2 metres, access to standard power and a safe performance area. Outdoor bookings need adequate cover from sun, rain and weather.
Can Robert travel beyond Sydney and the Hunter Valley?
Yes. Bookings are available across NSW, with travel included in the tailored quote.
